Girls and the khatta stuff

**I see a lot of teenage girls eating imlis, oranges, lemons and what not. They actually crave for it. As for me, i had been more into sweets. Even if i am eating imli sauce, it has to be sweet imli sauce:blush: My mom was like why on earth can’t you eat any thing a little tangy. I rolled my sleeves for a grapefruit and ended up sprinkling castor sugar on that too:(

But i have been wondering. Whats the connection there? ** :konfused:

Re: Girls and the khatta stuff

maybe they need vitamin c....iunno

Re: Girls and the khatta stuff

Imli has no vitamin C lol.

Re: Girls and the khatta stuff

same here!! I feel like i can eat chaat with lots of imli or french french fries with lots of chaat masala and what not everyday! but i also crave for sweets.. wierd.. :D

Re: Girls and the khatta stuff

I don't like overly khatta stuff either like kairi(raw mangoes), too much lemon or even achars etc...well do eat achar occasionally but not so much.

Re: Girls and the khatta stuff

I love khata stuff … but I can never eat that raw mango, even though i tried a few times :cb: … lemon tou , I can have a whole drum full of lemon juice :yummy:

Dont know though what the connection is :hmmm: … maybe its the tastebuds :konfused:

Oh chaat masala isnt really khatta:D

**
Achar with daal chawal is just out of this world.**

**Lookie lookie.. I was looking for this sort of a reply:p Yes probably taste buds:hmmm:

Re: Girls and the khatta stuff

I can only eat achar with roti..with rice it’s a bit too khatta for me. I do love gajjar and hari mirch ka achar with tandoori roti :yummy:

:sadiyah:

Re: Girls and the khatta stuff

someone (ok my MOM) told me that in pakistan girls (probably back in the day) would eat a lot of imli and khattay things to grow their boobs. i'm sure it's a myth though.

Re: Girls and the khatta stuff

Ooooh, I love kairi (raw baby mangoes)… buss mujhay abhi chahiyay :naraz:

@Ruiner: :hehe: Its definitely a myth.

The other day I was grocery shopping and came upon a package of aaloo bukharas. They were $4.99 for a little under 1 lb. I've always liked their taste especially with some masala sprinkled on top.

Brought them home and started popping them in my mouth when my wife said the same thing regarding the growth factor and told me not eat too much.

They are hard to resist. :)

Re: Girls and the khatta stuff

lemon goes in almost everything i make. I love lemon. I am the only one in my family addicted to khatta, not sure why...

hahaha. U should eat yar. They are harmless:p
