…what the heck is it about flowers that girls like? I’m sure I can’t be the only guy who really cannot fathom what is so romantic about giving a girl the hacked off reproductive parts of a plant.
I think it’s one of those things guys do without understanding the meaning only cos it seems to impress girls for some strange reason.

The point I'm getting as is trying to understand what is special about flowers. If I can understand what special about them, perhaps giving them will one day come easier to me....

hmm i dunno.. i guess we dont really think about all the technicality of it... its the same thing as somenoe giving u chocolates, teddies, jewelerry.. any type of gift actually... it just means that ur loved.. and that reminder is always nice..

i mean gift gifting is part of Islam too (i think.. not sure... mum told me it is).. like it shows affection and love..
it doesnt have anything to do with attention... i personally love giving gifts to people i care for, just to remind them how much they mean to me... the thought of them seeking attention would never even cross my mind... does it cross urs?

im talknig in general terms… gift giving is such a sweet gesture.. thats all
personally, i think girls like to “hear” things more than being “given” stuff.. but that depends on how much one values materialistic things… i couldnt careless to be honest.. ive only just started to get things and let me tell u.. its kinda wierd.. very special though..
everyone has their own way of showing and getting affection.. some do it thru gifts.. some do it thru words… a balance between the two is always good though

Aw I love flowers, whether they are from my parents, friends or someone special. The sight of them just makes me so happy. Heck I even like the flower they have on msn messenger, flowers are just perfect!

Flowers don't impress girls. When guys can't think of anything else they always go for a bunch of roses for some reason and girls have to act a bit and be dishonest that they love'em.
