I’m on the pill and my last period was 8th Sept. Ive been taking my pill since well before Ramadan trying not to miss any rozas. Now I’ve noticed that I’m getting a dark discharge as if the period is fightin to get out
. Is it the start of my period or what? Is my roza valid.
Im still taking my pill.
Do you think I should stop andlet it run free. Or carry on. I’ll miss the last 7 rozas if I stop. ![]()
Re: Girls, Advice needed Urgent.
Lady stop messing around! It is already october 25... You can always keep the missed rozas later on.
Re: Girls, Advice needed Urgent.
The pill doesn't guarantee that your period will stop. It may come regardless of whether you carry on taking the pill or not.
I agree with aishaA. Let your body take its natural course and make up the missed rozas afterwards. Don't mess with pills unless you absolutely have to.
Re: Girls, Advice needed Urgent.
why would you want to stop the periods artificially just not to miss the rozas.
Re: Girls, Advice needed Urgent.
Follow the schedule of your medication and do whatever "make-up" days you need to. More important is not to fool around with the medication and the schedule that you're supposed to follow. The brownish discharge is called "breakthrough bleeding" and is quite common, not something to worry about. You just had extra buildup in there and its coming out, as its supposed to do.
Re: Girls, Advice needed Urgent.
If you are taking birth control pill, you are suppose to have periods every month.
If you just started taking the pill, then i think it does not suit you, because pill regulates your periods but does not stop them.
Re: Girls, Advice needed Urgent.
Where in the Quran does it say that women can't fast during menstruation? I may be missing something but any Quranic references would be appreciated. Thanks.
Re: Girls, Advice needed Urgent.
aahmed, I don't think tabassum is interested in the religious ruling aspect. Please visit the Rlgn forum as there are two ongoing threads.
This is more of a anatomical discussion
Re: Girls, Advice needed Urgent.
You are supposed to take the pill for 28 days and then stop which causes the periods to start. It appears our tabussum has taken the pill nonstop
Re: Girls, Advice needed Urgent.
Will do fun guy, cheers!
Re: Girls, Advice needed Urgent.
There are two kinds of pills. One you stop after the 28 days and the other one has like 7 reminder pills. These pills take until the last day of period and then start new pack.
Re: Girls, Advice needed Urgent.
Okay I guess I'll have to stop then. This breakthrough bleeding, does it mean my rozas finished or do I wait for the proper bleeding to come through before I miss rozas?
Re: Girls, Advice needed Urgent.
if you want to do this, ask your doctor. i know people who have with physican advice used the pill to avoid periods for Haj and Umrah...it works but there is a way to do it so it is healthy.
Re: Girls, Advice needed Urgent.
I think it will count as a missed roza because you are spotting.
Re: Girls, Advice needed Urgent.
dark discharge is not period blood - you can still pray, keep rozay from what i understand.
Re: Girls, Advice needed Urgent.
Dark discharge! frightened
Re: Girls, Advice needed Urgent.
why u messing with nature? i think its stupid taking the pill just so that u dont miss any rozas....I dont think its very islamic either....as ur messing around with what is natural. ur supposed to make up the missed fasts later on....thats how the Prophets wives etc. did it. you trying to be better than them?
sorry if I sounded mean....but I just dont get why u do this.....ur messing up ur whole body with them pills.
