But its kinda easy to tell if someone is a real girl vs someone whose just being shady
PS this kind of reminds me of this girl who went around adding all the guppies on facebook…but nobody knew who she was, ppl wud accept her request thinking she was a guppy and ask a mutual friend and nobody knew

I get requests all the time from girls who want to make friends and guys who just want to blah.
I added a girl once and it was just too much...she wanted to be friends and I added her but all she wanted to do was go out and party. No lunch dates, shopping trips, dinners, movies, etc. Just party with someone. That is useless so I deleted her.

Facebook is a bigger waste of time than GS. Can't deal with both so I don't use Facebook.

Most of the profiles on Facebook are fake i.e. males pretending to be females and vice versa. So to avoid getting played up by them, I never accept any request unless the person looks familiar.
But the Facebook hasn't been that useless for me, I found a few of my childhood friends that I last saw 15 years ago. I met two of them, it was a wonderful experience meeting someone after such a long time.

i keep it very very limited... not accepting anyone i dont know, not at all..... dont add boys :( not even my cousins, no classfellows
dont add girls who i know as mutual friends of my friends, even if i know them... :D just those ppl are in my list who are like close friends or who keep in contact ( well not always... there are a few freinds who are always sleeping on fb :)
