Excellent story…Not what a expected. I thought it would be a cross between patch adams and one flew over the cookoo’s nest…but not so.
It is the true story of Susanna Kaysen,(played by Winona Ryder) a young woman who finds herself at a mental institution. It stars Angelina Jolie ( who won the golden globe nomination for the part) who plays an incredibly beautiful, charming, sociopath who manipulates all the girls, whoopee Goldberg as one of the caregivers and Vanessa redgrave.
I’m not sure guys will like (if that isn’t sexist) but..i still wouldn’t call it a chick flick…
nyah, it is still a chick flick. My wifey;s company did the promo for it and that was one of her accounts. Haha even she suggested that maybe I should not go for the premier because it was a chic flick.
But she really liked it and I guess I will be seeing it again sometime...
Some how I knew that this movie would live up to my expectations. Cuz the way it interprets the things that are going on in the minds of those people is really amazing. The minute it comes out on video, I think I'm gonna bye it.
Hell, I'd watch anything with Winona Ryder in it. But it was a good movie..overall.
I thought Angelina Jolie was pretty good too..she was hotter in Gia though..
