So i might be going to Pakistan this summer and as you know its to hot there at this time…so i wanted to know a good foundation for my oily skin not the shade that I’ll look for myself just the brand which is good for a really oily skin…so that i don’t look either to greasy at dinners/get togethers and can use a little bit to hide blemish spots in the day time…i have makeup forevers HD primer and a really good Sunblock as well..but these two i am sure will make me even more greasy.
Have you tried MAC foundations before? If not, I wouldn't risk it. They always make me break out. They do have mineral foundation which is no good. Try the Mineral foundation by Merle Norman, best mineral makeup I have tried, doesn't contain Talc like bare minerals. If you aren't looking for heavy coverage, you can even try Tinted moisturizer...they are perfect if you want to even out the skin tone while looking natural. My favorite is the one by Lancome, it has decent coverage and an SPF of 30, Who doesn't love that? If you have oily skin, you might want to set it with powder like mineral foundation, i think that would make for a beautiful finish.
I bought a Merle Norman foundation and used it once, it was pretty good. For summers just switch to a concealer and powder (after sunblock). The concealer will cover any blemishes and the powder will help set it, give an 'even' appearance and keep your face shine-free. A mattifying gel is a life-saver for Pakistan/Dubai summers.
Yes they do instead of taking mineral foundation buy their mineral powder. Pics bhi achi atein hain :p
Ok..thanks. I have the studio fix but i really don't get it whats the difference with their photo finish and studio fix and other variety available haha...

Yes i have been using MAC foundation only...more then the breaking out i am actually scared about the color change it causes...i look dark right after i use a foundation regardless of any shade, brand etc. I just hate it the more i try to make my skin look less oily the more i look that way which makes me look dark. Where in Mississauga, Canada is this Merle Norman available any clue?
and don't tinted moisturizers give a little bit of tan look? because as it is i have oily skin and on top of that i look dark because of this problem and then if i use something that gives a tan look i'll look like jinn baba :(

Should mattifying gel be used before or after the foundation/makeup? I used MAC's matte gel and my pictures came out pretty dark...my foundation looked dark as well so i am not sure...
so which mineral foundation is better then the rest?
I might be visiting Dubai as well and i want to look good, fresh and all but at the same time very natural...please give me a routine that i can follow there...for the evenings i can just put some color to it so no worries about that but what to do in the day time? Beaches pay etc..and i have VERY VERY OILY SKIN :(
Even to achieve a 'natural' look you'll need a fair amount of makeup. The balm/gel goes-on before your foundation. Use a concealer and tinted moisturizer if you don't want to use foundation. Liquid foundation mixed with a small amount of moisturizer will also work.
For evenings play-up one feature.. do heavy eyes or heavy lips according to your clothes/outfit.
