yeah, saw it a few minutes ago and then Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman's welcome of the decision to send the army after terrorist talibans. It's nice to finally see the religious scholars getting together announcing taliban as not only enemies of Pakistan but Islam as well. The nation for the most part is standing behind the army, the enemies are very clear and our minds less clouded. Now please Pakistan Army wipe this terrorist taliban menace from the face of the planet.

Yeah took long enough to get everyone on the same page. Now, what I want to know, is why does it always have to be some outside power calling in zardari and telling him what to do - the friggin' retard can't figure it out for himself. The decision to take down the Taliban movement was made on this website by a group of armchair poli sci wanna-be majors WELL BEFORE the Pakistani gov't finally got on the same page.

^Yeah sad as it is, i think it was a necessary step to allow for Shariah to set in place in SWAT, then and only then will the locals and others who for the moment thought TTP to be a good force would revert and see them for who they really are. it is sad that it took this long and so many innocent lives have been lost, but we can hope Armed Forces will not rest until this menace of terrorism TTP will be finished once and for all. All or nothing..
it would be ideal to capture Baitullah Mehsud and let him face the irony of having a shariah trial which calls for death penalty :), that after all vital information has been extracted from him so Pakistan can trace it back to TTP's financiers/logistical supporters. Majority of which can be found in Afghanistan at the moment
the world needs to realize and see that Pakistan has been a victim of imported terrorism in the guise of TTP.
