This guy must be living on his own planet. He thinks media should stop criticizing his govt b/c it was elected. So what? Media is not criticizing you for that or your legitimacy. Media is criticizing you for your incompetence, mismanagement and corruption. Your entire administration deserves daily jhotha on face (shoe) from public.

Gilani rejects credibility issue, asks media to stop criticism
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani on Thursday rejected the perception that his government had a credibility issue and asked the media to stop criticising it.
Gilani asked the media to refrain from criticising the government and instead help it gain international support for its flood relief efforts. In an interview with a television channel on Thursday, Gilani said the government was getting billions of dollars in assistance for the ongoing war on terror. “Are we not dealing with the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank? Are international donors not funding us?” he asked.
“Had there been an issue of credibility, would they still be providing us the funds?” he exclaimed.
Gilani asked the media to support the “popularly elected coalition government”. He said, “You should trust the people of Pakistan. They have elected us. Do not humiliate their conscience”. He, however, said the media was not playing its due role. “You are creating a hype. You are not helping the country. You are preventing Pakistan from getting aid,” he said. app
