Re: Gifts...
I was oncall last night-2 ppl died (1 in front of me), i saw a further 2 who were really unwell, and they may have died by today...It was stressful agreed, but at the end of the day-i was there with them, and me and my seniors did all we could. Life and Death are things which come to every creature Allah has created-no escaping! However, to have the skills and insight to try and help these ppl (even the ones with the nasty diseases) is soo rewarding. U start to notice that even the tiniest of things u do, can alter a person's life. And the way the patients thank u is heart-warming. I know that I will find the coming years stressful and at times challenging, but for me Medicine is the right choice!
