Gifts suggestions for 1 year old?

Hi everyone,

A cousin of mine is turning one INSHALLAH this month. I don’t wanna give her usual toys and/or clothes. At the same time, I can’t think of anything else that is suitable for her age.

I would like to get some educational toys, books, something that is fun and cool but also educational. Suggestions needed please.

Re: Gifts suggestions for 1 year old?

dont have to get her somethign to play with right now… how about like a bracelet with her name or birthdate engraved on it? she can have it for when she’s older… ? my daughter got a lot of things like necklaces, earings and bangles on her first from family and close friends… thats really special :k:

Cash. the parents will appreciate it alot.

A gift certificate, cash.

Or if you visit her often then you pobably know what she has already. In that case, get her some educational toys from Leapstart.

Re: Gifts suggestions for 1 year old?

Why not give her a savings bond for college? Since she is only one now, that will give it plenty of time to mature. The parents will commend your foresight and your cousin will really appreciate the gift when it comes time to pay for college.

If you insist on something tangible, why not get her a personalized gift?

Oh, and if you really want to splurge, I saw a gorgeous, baby panther, sterling silver rattle at Cartier. So pretty and definitely something to cherish.

^ thats an awesome idea. We opened an account for my hubby's neice on her 1st birthday as well.

My daughter is turning 2, we're thinknig of getting her her own meals table and chairs.. something propoertional to her height. Bechari has to eat at the coffee table standing up or sitting on the sofa..

Now that's CUTE! And can be used for the next little munchkin as well!
