So what is everyone giving out at te birth of there child? Still to standard Mithai/ladoo? I’d like to do something a bit diffrent but I’m not sure what!

We couldn’t give anything out. We just had a mini aqiqa and baby celebration party for our friends.

We gave boxes of chocolate(Fannie May - an American brand) and chocolate covered strawberries. We still did mitahi boxes for the traditional family members.
My nand gave out cupcakes for her last son.
