I think the invaders and other foreigners (sufis) etc, had a big impact on the people on the land. As far as the development is concerned, GT road, hotels, buildings etc of that time period.

But Ali don’t you think that areas where these invaders could not penetrate much (like South India) got good share of bindings, roads and hotels?
