when shud these gifts be given … i hate the idea of taking them to the baraat and giving them on the stage like old aunties used to do!! is mehndi a good idea? the day we normally take all the meeethai and all .. O_o .. or shud they just be sent to their house one fine day .. or shud we exchange these after the nikkah if we have a nikkah on a separate day?
Exactly gold is no more an easy to afford thing to distribute as a gift, unless somebody is richi rich :D. I would rather like to make a set for my mom, if I could, than honoring as gift in in-laws
