On weddings, is the groom’s side expected to give gifts to the bride’s family?
If yes, need ideas on a tight budget. Thanks!
Re: Gifts for bride's family?
Never heard of grooms side giving gifts to brides family. Only what is given to bride. The brides side normally give to grooms family.
But it's a lovely idea. U could give unstitched suits, shirts or perfumes.

^not sure why u haven't heard abt this but as far as I know its a pretty common practice for both families to exchange gifts, atleast from what I have seen around me, even servants are gifted.
Unstiched suits are the general and easy way to go.

Where u been?????
Re: Gifts for bride's family?
Definitely. Best not to receive anything if not reciprocating.
Unstitched suits are the norm. It's time like this when bargains matter and you can bulk buy although you can give cheaper shawls.
