celebrations and kind acts of generosity and well wishing go a long way in taking the lead on a colleague’s wedding celebration at work.
simple things to get: themed paper napkins, and plates, clear plastic pegs, clear apple cider, and paper table cover and congratulations card.
finally a cake, & a combined gift from all at work.
a surprise party can be arranged, at the last day before wedding of the colleague. toast/ well wish the person, and there you have it - a nice way to celebrate your colleague- friend’s turn in life.

Well at a recent bridal shower we threw for this guy, my co-worker....I think we did a good job. We ordered pizza only becuz there were 30+ attending from the office. We bought several bottles of sparkling apple cider and clear plastic champagne style glasses for the toast. We collected about $15 per person, $5 for the food and $10 for the gift. Me and 2 other ladies gathered the money & went out shopping. We have this store nearby called Shoppers World, and you get good stuff at cheaper prices. So we got a cutlery set, a dirt devil vacuum, these containers for the counter...etc...we tried to get stuff from their registry...they had registered at bed bath n beyond. We got nice gift wrap, and one lady in the offic eis really good at wrapping and making cute bows ou tof ribbon so she did that. We set it up pretty good I must say, I will post a pic if it is not too big file size. We also got a nice table cloth and set up conference room, also ordered a nice cake for him. His fiancee also works in another dept in the company so she was invited as well. :)
One cool gift my wife makes and I found whoever got it loved it is.
She buys a plain loose leaf album and decorates it with Satin , Lace , beads etc. I tell them that my wife made it , then they love it more.
