clothing is always appreciated by parents i am sure. If you are unsure of their taste/size, then get them a gift card of a clothing store. Or a gift cert for a play place like monkey joes, pump it up etc.

Ya I was also thinking clothing, but my husband says a little boy will not be too thrilled to open a gift and find clothes inside!

Then get a small toy and clothing? In our area thats what people usually do. They'll do a couple of clothing items and a toy or books.
