I need to get someone for my bosses. They are both taking me out for a fancy lunch next Friday and I want to give them something nice, but not over the top.

How about flowers with a sweet greeting card. Or a 2006 diary or a digital alarm clock.

Dont know. Alrdy have some gifts lying in my B/R for my dad, mom, sister and brother. So, wont buy more for now. Maybe before going on leave.

There was a 'Sale' on G2000 so bought a nice sweater for dad, jacket for brother and an office shirt for sister. For mom, bought a white gold ring. Im tired of giving perfumes each time so this time, I bought clothes.

For my parents' wedding anniversary this year I sent them a scarpbook ordered online. It had pics from their college days, engagement, wedding, births of kids, family outings through the years, special occasions (sp?) etc. with comments in a beautiful leather-bound book. They loved it!

Did the same thing when my friend moved back to Hong Kong this year - stuck in group photos and stuff in her book.

A friend's having a housewarming party soon. I'm thinking of getting her a waterfall thingy, the sound of running water sounds so nice. I can't think of anything else that she'd like.

Well I can’t help you if you’re planning on getting “someONE” for your bosses.. :wink: But if it’s someTHING, then why don’t you check out “Things Remembered”. Their web site has all the iteams with the prices and they have very nice “business appropriate” gifts. You can easily find something for under $30. You can also personalize most iteams with their names.

As far as my gifts to others go, the following are some of my favorite stores to go to when I need to buy gifts…depending on who I’m buying for. All these stores have VERY NICE stuff for $30 or under. Heck some of these stores(if you check their web sites) has nice gift iteams for $20 and under! The stores are Kirkland’s, Bed bath and beyond, The Body Shop, Bath and body works, Things Remembered, Victoria’s Secret.

Oh BTW, I went to Victoria’s Secret 2 days ago…as always, they had awesome gift sets that’s perfect for friends or cousins. And all their gift sets are right now 25% off. I got this purse with lotions and stuff in it for like $20 AFTER the discount.
