My son will be leaving the daycare and I want to give some gift to his teachers.
Any ideas ??

^Oh I have so many candles and candle related things I've received from my students. I love receiving gift cards for Barnes and Noble or borders...(my students know I love to read).....or even for a favorite restaurant/store. Teachers tend to like gift cards best ...based on personal experience and observation, :D. You'd be spending around the same amount either way...but a card just allows more freedom. Chocolate and Bath & Body Works also tend to work well.

Some Hallmark stores will engrave such items. Things Remembered is a store where you can buy gifts that can be personalized.

Oh I did not know candles were such a popular teachers gift !!
If you dont mind, what is an appropriate amount for the gift card. I am not sure. Even thugh I understand its the thought that counts but still.
There are 3 teachers.
I had thought of getting a card for each and then a small gift along with it.

Any gift is a good gift for daycare teachers. Like I gave gift cards for Starbucks to my daughters teachers and they loved those because Starbucks had very beautiful gift packing for their gift cards.

$15-$25 in gift cards is fine. I've received that much and appreciated it.

Agree. That's the usual range. And with that, Sarad, the gift card would suffice and you don't really need to buy a small gift to go along with it.

most of the parents gave a combined gift ,like each parent contributed 25 $ and money was put in an envelope along with the names of all the parents who contributed ....that was for christmas
for end of school year again parents contributed 25 for class teacher and $20 for helper teacher ,one of the moms got some nice discount at nordstorm and the class teacher was given a coach bag worth $700 but with nordstorm discount it cost only about $350....there were 19 kids in my daughter's class
