u can find such baskets in Saddar behind Zabun-Nisa Street. if u r looking for boxes, try gift shops at Park Towers.
I've seen pretty gift baskets at "lal's" in Karachi and u can get so many plain baskets that u cud spray-paint and decorate with whatever u feel like colored paper, stainglass paper etc.
checkout zamzama street. i ve heard they have really nice giftshops there which carry all those fancy shumancy giftboxes/baskets/envelopes etc .
Gina’s right - Lal’s have some awesome stuff. I ordered a few things from them and they really did look excuisite. They don’t sell empty gift boxes as such…they actually pack gifts for you, but chocolates is what they are really known for

I'd still get regular baskets and take a trip to the paper market and do them myself!
WELL LALz are good but they r very Expensive n plus they dont gve u empty baskets n all
"SAEED GHANI" is gr8 moderate IDEa for all the shadi stuff ,,in millenium they have BIG store n all type of baskets n boxes ,n i think on tariq road also they have branCH, AtLeast have a look at shop. it WILL definitly HELp U

I noticed pistachio roastery had bumped their prices up to ridiculous amounts over the last year or so. They are quite talented, but that talent is overshadowed by what they charge for the simplest of things !

I heard Papermoon at Zamzama has great packing stuff. It sells empty boxes and other items that can be used for gift wrapping and decorating.

Ready gift boxes
Hi...Im getting married ain a few weeks & flyin to Karachi to pick up my bridal dress & finish off a few last minute shopping...want to know where i can get some ready gift boxes, baskets (pretty ones) to gift wrap the groom's gifts.
Please help urgently any shop, contact details or location in Karachi will do.. want some ready gift boxes as none of my house members are creative :I

I recently found a shop in karachi. The woman who owns it is Mrs. Anwer. She is a master of handmade gift pieces, decoration pieces (for ordinary use, wedding or any theme for any event), mehndi thaals (for purchasing and rentals), trousseau packaging, flower arrangement and favor boxes. I myself purchased a decoration piece at reasonable price. And a couple i know had a baby recently and they ordered hundred favor baskets from her and because they ordered that in a lot Mrs. Anwer brought down the price of one big basket from Rs. 1200 to Rs. 500. Her work is really good and she seems to be a hard working person. Anybody coming to or living in Karachi do check out her shop. And anybody living outside Karachi and interested in buying her products, contact her and im sure she will send you pictures of her work. The address is Shimmers, Shop No 13, Plot No 01 Data Tares near Medicare Chowrangi. Her contact number is 0300-2539290. I do not know this woman personally. I have only met her twice but i genuinely feel that she deserves recognition on a bigger scale. Trust me you will like her work.
