Giant Aerial Map of Lahore as wall painting

I was browsing though restoration hardware.

They have GIANT maps of major cities in Aerial shots in black and white as wall decor. See Below http://www.restorationhardware.com/catalog/category/products.jsp?categoryId=cat1676055

I would like to do that with a Ariel map of Lahore for my home office wall in black and white or slight tint

How can I achieve this?

  1. Where do I get a good quality high resolution Aerial map of Lahore
  2. What software or services I would use enlarge it
  3. How do I convet it into a wall piece?

Am not sure but here if we want ariel map of any city then we contact Ministry of Works, Land Survey Department. They have especial software to print/add information of any city, area etc.

Try to contact land survey department of the said ministry or any other ministry which operate this.

seriously? I have to contact a department. No one sells a map of Lahore on the internet? tell me it isn't so

unfortunately you wont find many maps of any city of pakistan....
I had a habit of buying a local tourist map where ever I went in the world
but when i came to pakistan no luck :(
try google earth they have an arial map ...
will look in local shop to see if they have any maps

Try Ferozsons in Lahore

May be u can get from there.....Once a bought a map of Pakistan from there it was a detailed map

go to google earth and u will find alot of maps of pakistan...maybe you'll even be able to buy one...

Try to check with Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation i.e www.tourism.gov.pk or http://www.tdcp.gop.pk/.
