PS: I pay my full tax, all utilities bills so i want all facilities which i deserve and this is their duty which they are not doing So my anger is RIGHT :cobra:

To bring about change you do not need to have everybody educated in the country , you need only a few good men.
Everybody in Libya , Tunisia , Egypt, and Yemen is not educated , you do not have to wait for a revolution or change to happen till everybody is BA pass in Pakistan. You need some sincere activists.
Merely writing emotional and galion bharay columns in newspapers is not going to bring about change in Pakistan Dr. Asmat Hyat Alwai would have to move his butt from his luxurious writing table and mobilize ghareeb awam.

It is very convenient to blame a voter for the election of our representative without realizing;

  1. Voter is a part of a very corrupt society
  2. Voter has to vote in a very flawed voting system
  3. Voter, more than often, is slave of the circumstances
  4. Voter alone is not responsible for electing a representative, there are angels muddling the election results

We will keep on electing same people or their near kin or a look alike unless we change;

  1. responsibilities of an assembly member from being an entitlement manager to a legislator.

  2. There should be no discretionary funds available for the local representative to fix streets of the their voters, no funds for bringing sui-gas, or electricity to an area. They should have absolutely no say in the affairs of local police station.
    These funds should go to the departments over sighted by local bodies representatives, development projects should be executed by department on the bases of five years plan, rather than administrated by executive.

  3. There should be no funds available on the discretion of PM or CM for the entitlements like 6000 laptops offered by Shehbaz Sherif or Projects like Benezir income support program. A poor should be given a fair chance to earn rather than put on alimony.

  4. Election commission should be independent and concrete measures should be taken to make election fair.

  5. Returning officers should have protection of law and should have authority to punish anyone with a bad intention on the spot.
