Ghulami Ki Zangeer

:salam2:

Well, I’m not good in History related to Pakistan but I would like to share on thing that when Pakistan recognized worldwidely (1948), the command of establishment of ministries and running was handed-over to those pplz who had intermediate of matric certificates. Similarly the so-called ‘Jageer-dars’ was ruling urban areas.

Since that day to till today, still we see many urban areas ruled as ‘Jageer system’ where ‘Panchayat’ make all kind of decision. Example: If a widow gets married, she convicted as ‘karokari’ and punished accordingly. Will ‘Ghulami ki Zangeer’ ever gonna break so that the community cope-up with the time and take/get lead with others countries?

Any views

Re: Ghulami Ki Zangeer

Its a cyclical problem.. People vote those jaageerdaars who are the reason behind their backwardness. People don't have option to chose good people, because they have been told by these jaageerdars (Matric / Inter pass) that if they don't vote them, jageerdars (from other parts of the country) will prove to be worst for them.

For history, majority of our rulers still belong to those families who serviced British rulers and killed / got killed the local people. In short: Ghulami ki zanjeer badli hai, ghulami joon ki toon hai.. pehle log Angrez ke ghulam hai, ab unke ghulamon ke ghulam. :(

I think the most important thing which Pakistan needs today to break this chain is the 'law' and 'education'.
