PPP like all other parties/alliances in a state of flux/panic at the moment.
**Mustafa Khar expelled from party: Jahangir Badar **
Secretary-general Pakistan People’s Party Jahangir Badar said that Ghulam Mustafa Khar has always been a guest artist in the party and he has himself been expelled from the party on violating discipline. In a press conference in Lahore, Jahangir Badar said that when his desires are not fulfilled in the party then he begins to say the opposition’s language.
^^ that is what you called dictatorship with in a "democratic" party. One cannot speak his mind against the leader. Benazir was doing all the talks wiht Mush and keeping her own leadership in the dark, expecting them to follow her blindly.
Is Aitezaz, still part of PPP? Any news about him?

Aitzaz Ahsan is scraping around almost seemingly about to stick the knife into BB. The PPP seems to be on the verge of some sort of split. Interesting days ahead.
Aitezas delusional, Amin Fahim getting being-left-out complexes, Khar barking his own mind...
True, with this internal PPP chaos, I wonder if BB and her PPP are left even significant enough for the President COAS to make deals and compromise with them? Maybe he should wait a bit and see and even give *hawa *to the *aag *within PPP...

I think the "deal" if it goes through it will break up PPP. Lets wait and watch. BTW, no party in Pakistan is truly a democratic party. They don't practice what they preach when it comes to democracy.
BB realises there is already a 'lion of Punjab' in pervaiz Elahi. She does not need another one :D
Let's see how much roar the 'lion of Punjab' has against the 'Lioness of Larkana'? The Pakistani political scene is like a jungle full of hungry animals, no doubt about that.
No body can ever accuse PPP of being a shining example of democratic traditions anyway. We all know that. GM Khar is a fairly useless character anyway, plus he is old and should be worrying about his journey to the next world. I doubt anyone will lose sleep over Khar being kicked out of PPP.
Then there is the larger issue of split in PPP. Since mid 70's it has been tried several times and has never really worked. PPP is synonymous with Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto. If you are neither of two, you don't stand a chance of carving out a credible PPP (google 'Murtaza Bhutto' and 'Ghanva Bhutto' and see where it got them). All other PPP leaders (what a misnomer) realize that their success is owed to the name of Benazir Bhutto. When breaking ranks, their best bet is to join another party, rather than trying to launch a break-away faction of PPP.
ps. Jehangir Badr.... what an amazing example of a typical Punjabi dagga.
^ Definitely. In Pak culture a son is usually a slamdunk to take over daddy's political party, but Murtaza's extra-legal ways of dealing with issues and his out of control temperament made him an also-ran in Pakistan's political history. Benazir has far more political acumen than Murtaza. Her other brother was actually much better. He got murdered fairly early, and I forgot his name.
Yeah, that guy. Rumor was that he was shrewdest of the bunch. Kinda like Michael Corleone of the bunch as opposed to Murtaza who was like Sonny Corleone (brute force).
Well he finally attended BB's CEC meeting in London today, days after he arrived in London and after his meeting with Nawaz Sharif earlier in the week. At the CEC meeting it seems that Aitzaz may have been warned by BB to toe the party line or else.
