Ahmedabad, October 16: A senior official of the Forensic Science Laboratory on Wednesday told the two-member judicial commission probing the Godhra carnage that it was “not possible” to pour combustible liquid into the ill-fated coach of Sabarmati Express from outside.
Appearing before Justice G T Nanawati and Justice K G Shah here, assistant director of the laboratory M S Dahia said, by “re-enacting the scene of February 27 we found that it was not possible to pour the liquid from outside as the compartment was seven feet above the ground level”.

there were so many rumour floating in gujrat after godhra there was a gujrati news paper called sandesh which reported the next day that the hindu female passengers were stripped and thier breast cut by muslims this led to a mass rape of muslim women in godhra. infact muslim women were not just raped they were mutilated.

I am surprised it has taken the Indian Express so long to discover this fact. Other newspapers have been reporting for months that contrary to earlier allegations Muslims did not burn that train from the outside. Rather the train caught on accidently fire from inside the train by kerosene that the Hindu pligrims were carrying in their possession. The Muslims were blameless from the start, yet thousands of them were still burned alive in one of the worst genocides of independent India. Horrifying.

But for some unknown reasons no one wants it to make an issue, anywhere in India or abroad. If so, may be then we will have to discuss openly the madness behind any religion.
You are right, whatever has happened was horrible, though the same happens in your culture very often, and you people instead of questioning the rout cause either escape or give strange definitions.

I have very few reports from Indian newspapers in this, but a story published in one of the UK papers a few months ago, which I will dig out. Have the Indian government been honest enough and come forward to admit that it was not the Muslims who started the fire, but the Hindu pilgrims themselves (accidently)?

The more apt question should be, what have you been smoking? Have you forgotten Modi's utterances so quickly? Is he part of the BJP allied state government or the law enforcement agencies? Or maybe he is an agent of ISI sent to make Hindus look like bloodthirsty murderers.
