thanx uncle for umaira’s interview,sound is not clear anyways..
i like the way she talks,i think umaira should work with mehreen jabbar cuz she’s the best director…Doraha is better than ghost..waiting for her new serial malal

n uncle most important thing on the forum is feedback not username

Faisal needs some rest aik hi face aik hi cast ko bar bar dekh ker insan bore ho jata hai…aur b bohat se artists hain jo achi acting ker saktay hain,lakin Babar… i cant say anything

Abb agarr Faisal ko bar bar cast kiya jaata hai tou iss may Faisal ke kiya qasur? He is a good but brilliant actor–that I know and the matter regarding introduction of new faces or taking bets on others then Faisal…I thought, rests with Producer/Director and even the writer… as I would know better PLUS the commercial value of the artiste…which is more then half-baked important!! in pak-showbiz…!

thank you Raju Uncle for Umaira Ahmed's Interview :) She's camera shy for sure and that's why she sounds so hesitant with the "interview" haha!
I hope she doesn't turn into another Seema Ghazal and churn out a play every other month. I hope she keeps writing books and novels at the same time because she is a Fantastic novel writer!
Looking forward to Mehreen/Umaira's Malal. I hope it comes on Geo/Ary so we can watch it in the US too :)

Thank you for a wondrful mail/response....which reaffirms my faith in some viewers---on being so considerate and soft--rather then bombardment and a continuous portrayal of absolutely negative approach towards life!

I am sure that Ms. Ahmed has read your comments and that she'll take into account...the cogent suggestions being cascaded on this thread specially created for the fun of some exchanges on her serial-adaptation of GHOST!

Umaira doesn't do any interviews at all so even if we got this much from her, it's GREAT! :) I remember when she finished her novel in Khwateen Digest (?) and all the readers wanted a q&a type of session with her, she was quite hesitant and just gave out her email address.
it's too bad that all her plays are for Hum TV so US viewers cannot see them. At least with Doraha, they might show that during prime time on Geo whenever that will be in the US.

I'll have to catch Ghost online when I have some time. Right now I'm trying to follow Doraha and loving it.

Constructive criticism is always good be it for young directors like Mehreen J and Zaid or the one's that have been around for a while.. It's not negative comments to them personally, it's about their work and how it can be improved. If u're doing something creative, u shud be open to criticism as well..

^ true. artists who're too narrow minded to take criticism in the right spirit never improve. there are so many examples of big directors who became failures in life because of their ego.

momal bibi barri ameer maloom hoti hain. but her choice of subjects is not good.jab ghosts exist hi nahi karti tau us pe drama banane ki kya zaroora hai???? jinns exists but there is no such thing as ghost.

Indeed zaroor hogi! and since Umera is on board here--I am sure she'll discuss this with Mehreen.Khush Rahein ....and GHOST is just a serial..
based on adaptation -- its not Umera's own work...is it !

MOS is the best serial.Babar ka jo standard MOS main tha woh us ne khud giraya hai…same stories same casts serials kab tak chale gi lakin Babar ko ye khushfehmi hai k us ki har serial hit ho gi…khamoshiyan,JJ r flop serials..muje apna banalo,ghost jaisi fuzool stories …anywayz
