I’ve been having issue with my brakes for over six months now.I’ve taken my car to almost every work shop …and yesterday i finally dropped my car at the Honda dealership …so tha they can figure it out what the hell is wrong with it. It turned out to be another embarrassment for me. As there was nothing wrong with it.
Few people say i’ve got ghost in my car and the funniest remark i got so far was yesterday when i told the mechanic that my car makes such a loud noise that it wakes up the whole apartment complex whenever i leave for work and it only makes noise when i’m leaving for work or i’m at work…he then asked me…“Mr.Ali Have u ever thought about it that…may be your car doesnt wanna go to work unlike youself” and i thought for a second …could be
*cuz right now i can expect any unusual thing from my bloody basanti…:clown: *
So i wanted to know got any ideas…which may help???

borrow another car, wax it lovingly in front of basanti, and all for a few days, basant will be back to normal in no time.

if you are unable to find a temp car, then you can use the services of a taxi or limousine service. just be cautious taxis can be a little dity and all, you may get stuff on your clothes and then you would need to deal with the effort of sorting that out, some really filthy taxis may give permanent stains.

to diagnose noises without being there in person is tricky. although some are very common so easier to pinpoint. is it a screeching, grinding, knocking or some other type of noise? when does it happen(ie when you turn key first thing, when you brake etc)?

if it doesnt happen whilst the dealers have it, they wont be able to recomend a repair to you.

some gloves have holes in em. you might get greasy.

its everything...... screeching,grinding ( metal to metal noise)...... even tho i got brand new rotors ,pads,rear break drums and shoes.....
stilll makes the noise when i ...slow down at a traffic light.....or park ....
it only happenens when i go to work.....doesnt make a single noise if i have to go to my work place just to pick my paycheck or something other than work.....
i'm beginning to believe ...there is a ghost in it....:(

lol, if the dealers have said theres nothing wrong with it then chill out and floor it. they'll have checked over the system. cars are pretty robust and if this noise requires attention then it'll get more common and rough.

if it helps, i dont think you have a problem that even warrants a second thought. if its a high pitched noise as you stop, then who ever changes your brake pads doesnt like using copper grease. it creates a barrier to prevent metal to metal contact. nothing essential safety wise though. :)

yaar dekho its not just the quantity of time that is important, but the quality as well. when was the last time you waxed basanti, or rotated her tires, when dd you go for a long relaxing drive on some new road with exciting twists and turns instead of the in, race, out type of run of the mill daily commute. when did you take basanti for a spa day at the detailing place? did you buy basanti a new radar detector for her birthday? how about getting her some nice rims that she sees all others cars sporting now?
