GHAZAL

Khud apne haathon se aashiyaana jalaa chuke they to hosh aaya
Ye abr dhuein k zindagaani pe cHaa chuke they to hosh aaya

Wo jis ne ham ko panaah d thi, karam ki ham pe nigaah ki thi
Ham aaise nadaaN usi shajar ko giraa chuke they to hosh aaya

Nigaah Daalein ge na kisi par, ye dil mein Thaani thi yaar lekin
Ham in nigaahoN ko un ki jaanib uThaa chuke they to hosh aaya

Ab is zahaanat pe naaz kaisa ! jo khul gaya ho wo raaz kaisa !
Ham eik soorat se yaar dhoka jo khaa chuke they to hosh aaya

Wo eik lamha tumhari chaahat ka laakh lamhoN pe mo’tabar tha
Hujoom-e-gham mein wo eik lamha gaNvaa chuke they to hosh aaya

Wo pehli chaahat k khwaab saare, they rahguzar k sahaab saare
Wo khwaab ashkoN ki baarishoN mein bahaa chuke they to hosh aaya

NehaaN they seene mein jaane kab se, jo raaz ham ne cHupaye sab se
Wo raaz apni hi shaa’iri mein sunaa chuke they to hosh aaya

Lijiye janab, ham ne eik koshish ki hai is ko mukammal karne ki, kahiye to kaisi hai, aur dekhiye to kahiN abhaam to nahi;

Ajeeb kya hai jo ab khamoshi hi hosh uRaane pe tul gaee hai

Kisi ney pehley bhi to kuch keh rakha hey inhi khatoot par...something like: .... kisi jaga sey parindoN ka kooch kar jaana

Thanks Amal. I like the Idea but I don't like the arrangement of the words. It doesn't go with the flow of the original gazal and the shair.

I would put it this way...

ab aate toofaaN se qabl kaise koyee ishaara ho aagahee ka **
**Tamaam shaakhoN se sab parinde uRa chuke they to hosh aaya
