It was good but it was freezing cold. I felt bad for all the men, especially the night we spent in Muzdalifah. It was freeeeeezing and all the men were just shivering. We did a ziyarat of Mecca and Madina. I posted the pics in the Travel and Tourism forum.

There were these ruins at the top of a mountain in Madina, close to where the Battle of Uhud took place. It’s rumoured that women would hide out there and use the place to store food and water for men who were in battle. Don’t know how true that is, but the whole place is full of history, that’s what I loved the most.

Personally, I found Madina to be so emotionally overwhelming. Very calming and peaceful there.

I agree…Don’t know about you, but in Makkah, there is a sense of urgency…Madina was such a cool place to be…Everything is smooth in Madina…
