Who has to do more to make it peaceful, shia or sunni?

Shias are the persecuted sect Saudis and Pakistanis are engaged in a campaign of genocide against them, many notable Saudi clerics have called for slaughter of Shias, rape of their women and enslavement of their children. Shias are fewer in number and I believe that Sunnis should stop the campaign of genocide against them. What Saudis are doing in Yemen is deplorable.

**The fact remains and not even our Shia Brothers can dispute this all scholars agree on this:

Hazrat Ali Karam Allah Wajhu a prominent scholar in Fikha and jurisprudence knowing all that our Holy Prophet PBUH had stated at Ghadeer Khum Sermon Hazrat Ali RA himself accepted

and made bait with

the Khilafhat of Hazrat Abu Bakr RA

and the Khilathat of Hazrat Umar RA

and of Hazrat Usman Ghani RA.

Here we have a Scholar a confidant and Family Member doing what he felt was the right thing to do at that very crucial time!

who are we to double guess the Judgement of Hazrat Ali Karam Allah Wajhu?

Whatever Shias believe and act upon, nobody has a right to kill them for this reason.

A million Shias have been massacred since 1979.

what was the number of people at ghadeer e khum?

Different source will have different number but majority believe should be more then 100 000 as around this number of people had gone for hajj and were returning back with the Prophet

or interesting timing, if you want to go there then let me know why we see so much iman only in these 10 days. why not whole year.

No doubt about that, just like we have ramadhan only muslim, there will be Muharram walay Muslim but who am I too judge as it goes down to intention / niyyat which I think only he knows

if you know ground realities, let me know how many public gatherings are held during rest of an year?
And how many of them are related to ahl e bayt and how many for addressing other topics in Islam say seerat ul nabi(s.a.w) for example?

Quick Google search Shia calendar or Shia event calendar will list out the gatherings

Prophet is expecially remember on wiladat/shahadat of Imam Ali, Hassan , Hussain , Fatima.

For the sake of argument lets say it was Allah’s order to make Hazrat Ali r.a. first caliph, I wonder what is to celebrate here?
You celebrate it because it was your belief that Hazrat Ali r.a. should be successor and Allah approved wish of shia?

In Alkafi it is also mentioned that hazrat hassan r.a. and hussain r.a. made bait with ameer muawia r.a. But shia’s argument is these sahaba were hypocrite and holy prophet and hazrat Ali r.a.had to deal with them tactfully throughout thier lives.
Still shia unable follow hazrat ali r.a.
A scholar said hazrat ameer muawia started shab o satam in islamic history and shia are following it.

You say hazrat bilal announced that holy prophet will give sermon, why people left holy prophet behind at ghadeer khum as they were asked to come back to listen the sermon?

**Hazrat Ali Karam Allah Wajhu was the Mightiest Warrior who could have very easily taken on the Khilafat single handed,

however he was also THE LIGHT of knowledge of ISLAM, and He fully adhered to it all his life!

if our Shia (meaning the friends of Ali RA) brothers do not respect Hazrat Ali Karam Allah Wajhu’s decision then they will have to answer for themselves!

A large number of my family are Shia, and we do get along but the arguments can be tiring!

May Allah SWT guide us all!
