For the sake of argument lets say it was Allah’s order to make Hazrat Ali r.a. first caliph, I wonder what is to celebrate here?
You celebrate it because it was your belief that Hazrat Ali r.a. should be successor and Allah approved wish of shia?
Or its just a sectarian desire?

The sermon given at Ghadeer was more then being about caliph

Especially this part

… Befriend anyone who befriends him and make enmity towards anyone who makes enmity towards him…

And people ask question in ramdhan should be suspected as hypocrite as I am in this case as i opened thia thread in muharam lol. And it is ok for you to judge.
Btw, i have opened a thread on such issue a couple of months ago as well.
You say hazrat bilal announced that holy prophet will give sermon, why people left holy prophet behind at ghadeer khum as they were asked to come back to listen the sermon?

What I meant by Ramadhan / Muharram Muslim was about those who are Religious in these months only but have no issue with drinking, women, showing more skin then clothes etc etc those considered unislamic and that was the reply to this

Maybe you can judge the religiosity but i don’t know how to judge the level of iman , to each his own

I don’t know where it’s said people left as those hajjis accompanying the prophet didn’t

I don’t know the exact figure of people present

More then 100 000 were the hajji’s who were with the Prophet after the hajj

The number of people present may vary as I don’t think there will be a accurate number as to how many join in from the surrounding areas after the announcement

If you want to have more understanding form a different point of view then can have a look

But if have already made up your mind, then can ignore
