Well, I have a partial denture in place for one of my front teeth that recently had an implant procedure done. Actually, the implant will be placed couple of months after the jaw-bone fully recovers from extraction..
Anyhow, for the first few days it was very hard to get used to talking normally, and i sounded like a 2 years old who is just beginning to converse. The first day when I went to work after the procedure, we all decided to have lunch at the office due to work-load, and while we were talking sitting around the board-room table, eating pizza. All of a sudden i felt my denture coming out of the socket as i was eating and talking at the same time 
. I had to stop what i was doing re-adjust it using my tongue, and then continue on; leaving my workmates in a brief limbo that i was about to choke…more readjustments, rule # 1 not to eat and talk at the same time while wearing a denture..
Then, we went snow-shoeing the other day, and I sneazed, the next thing I felt as if something was missing from my mouth..oh my denture..i started looking around madly..and spotted it few feet down below lying on rocks. Following, on the footsteps of ten second rule, I grabbed it and put it back into my mouth..and continued on..there are few more boffo ones. I am glad I haven’t tried french-kissing yet while wearing my denture, don’t know how that would go..I guess will have to consult some hockey player before venturing out..
. I am glad that thus far I have not forgotten to put it on in morning before heading out. I mean, on occasions you would forget your cell, etc ..let’s see if nothing happens for two months..
