BAS AB IREM U NEED TO GET OFF GS ![]()
I know only a couple of niqabi people, but a lot of hijabi people, and my perception doesn't change when I see them w/out the hijab or niqab. To me they are still the same person..hmm....interesting observation though Irem.
As far as MSN or GS go, yep people are very different on the net than they are in real life.

Re: Irem
Dear Irem,
Hi!!
I was in one arabic country and i had a friend; she was more than a NAQAbi--She and her family members used to keep their whole face closed but an eye.
I used to meet her almost every day; while stepping down of my flat. One day i went to an hospital, since I was not well.
I saw an ultra modern ,with full make up, a girl coming near me and she started kissing me in arabic way. She was taking my name.
I could not recognize her at all. The reason was I could never ever have thought that these arabs use their PARDA OR HIJJAB as dress code, only.
In Pakistan PARDA means BURQA and that person observes it through out her life.
So when I could not recognize her. She told me that I am the same, such and such.
Later I discussed her about that. She said we all wear our HIJJABs only for family members not for others, who do not know us.
Her image had been changed totally, as if she was a different person altogether.
I met her later one time more. She was with coat and hood this time.
Meeting with different appearance (hijjabi and non Hijjabi) make it a lot different, as if that person is not one but two different persons.
Bye sokoon
hmm...
usually when people meet someone wearing a hijab/niqaab, they automically formulate an image in their minds, and appear to be more reserved towards that individual. They don't joke around much, won't talk much, and would try to appear reserved.
Seeing this attitude change, the person wearing the hijab/niqaab too feels awkward and is unable to behave the way they normaly would.
I feel that the hijabi/niqaabi [in most situations] is forced to be someone they are not. And when u meet the same person without the hijaab/niqaab, u look at them in a different way, you find it easier to relate to them and thus they too are able to reciprocate the same feelings.
I think its all a matter of perception... thats all.
[once again... id like to mention that this is just my view... not everyone one is the way and thus not all peaople react the same way... but majority of them do act in the manner mentioned above]
if u meet someone try and look beyond their appearance... many ppl are not who they appear to be :)
One u start overlooking a persons appearance, u won't feel the personality change ;)
INSPO ![]()
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
inspo u gotta a good point ![]()
in my case tho, with my naqabi friend in the aafis, she’s a real fun perzon to be with [not super serious or anyfin] with naqab and without too
lekin for some reason i guess it just takes time getting used to the face
but not that its a big deal or anyfin ![]()

yaar lekin appearance is part of personality? kya khayal hae? like facial expression, body language, and many ways dress, contributes to personality haena?
i am sure she must be a lot of fun to be with… after all she is your friend !! :)… i was just giving my poin of view
haan… it does… but to a certain extent..[thats what i feel]… but… i was referring to ppl for whom apperance is all that matters…
they would hate someone one day for the way they were dressed,.. and would love them the next day… just beacuse that person was dressed the way they wanted them to …
making sense??![]()
