How do you get over it?
Re: Getting over jetlag
A good sleep, go sightseeing later first get some sleep, take the nessacary security precautions first… in my case anyway… then put the “Do not disturb!” Sign and tell all relatives you will see them when you are ready, warn them that if they wake you without good cause they basically forfiet thier life
Then take a nice long nap.
Jet lagg will be gone, i hope ![]()
Re: Getting over jetlag
So bottomline is sleep sleep and sleep?
Re: Getting over jetlag
not sleep sleep and sleep.. start with a good warm bath, some rest and then sleep at the proper time. Else your body sleep cycle will be disturbed for a week.

i would say make an effort to stay up at the time when your biological clock is set to 'sleep time', i.e all day. keep yourself busy with some stuff, so that when the night comes you are so tired you automatically drift off to sleep. that way your sleep cycle would come back to normal within a day or two.
BTW nikki aapi, welcome back :)

That's good advice, and scientifically based as well... since it's Melatonin levels in your body that acts as a time kepeer for the brain and up to a certain extent, governs your sleep-wake cycle.
You can also make sure you're eating cycle is in rhythm as soon as possible as your digestive system has a lot to do with your energy levels... so don't take a long nap and eat when you wake up in the middle of the night.
People who live out of a suitcase typically use these simple sleeping / eating routines to manage their jet lag.
