awwwwwww that was cute fazeelat...r u a doll too? hehe :D i agree curly, wavy hair are better but just learn how to manage them and you will luk gr8.
yasmin, since u have curly hair, u must remember that once ur hair starts to grow after the straightening, it will be curly from top and stick straight from the bottom. getting it straightened permanently will mean u'll have to manage it, maybe every month in your case, if your hair grows fast, else even half an inch of curly hair on top with straight at bottom will look really really bad.
Why not just get it done in your country? much less risky isn't it? Cz in pak.....u can't trust some parlours, i went t0 name-brand parlours and they just fked up everything while the no-name ones did good jobs. so u can never really know, but i wouldn't trust such a big procedure to a pak salon.
I agree with Fazelat - men do prefer curly/wavy hair. I had mine permanently straightened in 2005. It only lasts about 10 months or so and then the natural hair starts growing from the top which means you have to maintain it regularly as miicha said. £200 for nothing! Wouldnt get it done. Just invest in good straighters.
I have my hair permanently straightened and I'd say it's worth it. Your hair does grow out curly from the top, but you can always get your roots done again. What I noticed with my own hair is that it didn't grow back in so curly, but more wavy. If you're a low maintenance girl and you want hair that you don't have to spend hours on, then definitely get the straight perm. Also, since you're getting married, and you're going to be washing your hair far more often than you used to:o if you catch my drift, curly hair gets drier and drier the more you wash it, while the straightened hair will fall back into place.

many ppl say that i m like a doll, curly hair and oval face with dolly cheeks. so i wanted to straight my hair then i thought i always( in home and outside) take dupatta on my head , but not in my bedroom and my hubby likes my curly hair so it doesn't matter if i like straight hair .... so i decided not to waste my money.
Hehe I never ask for Your opinion about if I should get it straight or not. I ask where in Islamabad there as the BEST parlor to get it done.
I have straighted my hair permanently one time before and I was really happy with the result. I know about all the negative and positive side of getting hair permanently straighend. So do You know where it in Islamabad it is safe to get it done.
I did it in east asia once. From a not so fance parlor, and it was just so great! And it lasts for 1.5 year. My hair doesn't grow så fast and my boyfriend just love when I straight my hair for an evening...så I know what I'm doing. Just want to know where it is safely to get it done in Islamabad. It will cost me 25000 rupees if I do it here and in east asia I only paid 2000 rupies.... So I know even though I went to the most expensive parlor in Pakistan it will be cheepier for me. And the parlour here are not så familier with asian hair...so I know that the result will be best in Asia.....
woho...we were only trying to help! ofcourse we dont care if you get yr hairs straightened or burnt! since you brought that subject up we thought we might let you of its disadvantages. And for your kind info, no parlour in pakistan can do the permanent hair for Rs2000 unless its your own parlour :p lol forget about the expensive ones as they start from Rs 25,000 and up.
So getting just the hair straighten in Pakistan is more expensive than bridal makeup??? Do You have name/telephonenumber of some parlours in Rawalpindi/Islamabad? Can I get it?
i appreciate all help and Your opinion. I just laugh because nobody came with any suggestion of any parlour…That is what i need from the beginning..:halo:
Bridal make-up has gone from Rs 25,000- Rs 3000 to above, unfortunately!. And for signature make-up you might just have to move alot more :(. I dont have the rqrd infor for Isl or Rwp but they can't be much different from these figures.
Edit: Stylobabe is from Isl, wl ask her if she can be of any help to u.
hi yasmin waisay the top parlours of isb are depilex....aslams...milee....daniellas..Seemis....and in pindi nikhar ....sobias n some others however i prefer Seemis she did my engagement makeup she is sweet n veryy helpful i really like her staff as well her number is :0321-5823277 u can find the numbers of other parlours in the wedding forum thhey have been posted by various users
Yeah you should def. go for it!...but just keep in kind that you ll be stuck with straight hair for a good 7-9 months...you can't curl or do anything else with your hair. and most importantly, don't get short bangs if you get your permenantly straight cause they end up looking odd.
