getting married

Hellooow girls
im new here and i need some advice from u guys. im getting married end of this year. i was looking at dresses to get an idea of what will look good on me.
So here goes im very short, thats like 5.1 and my figure is a size 34-36…
What i want is a nice bridal dress from pakistan, it will not b designer wear…thats nice but too expensive.. anyway
I like this lehenga/shara a lot, what i was wondering is it possible to get dresses made in pakistan and price range shud i b thinking of? (again non-designer). (dresses as in 1 piece dress). coz i think this lehenga wud also look really good if it was a dress.. i like the colours..

The long kameez lehenga and gharara’s i lik are these:

this one i like a lot, but not sure a gharar will look good with my hight.. i think it will make me look shorter, any thougts experiences??

What lenght of shirt can i pull off with my hight??i like the long shirts on the lehenga, but they shudnt be loose. I saw a lot of brides wearing long shirts, but loose. i dont like that..
And what about the farshi ghara’s??

ok loads of q’s for now

bump!!!help!

Re: getting married

since you are pretty tiny, how about a ghararah with a short shirt? I think you can definately pull off pick #2 but a train that is not super long.

what do you mean by 1 piece? love the colors for all of them! =)

i mean a dress with the traditional lehenga look, considering the work.. u know what i mean? can i get this made in pakistan?

i wud like to get a gharara and a dress or lehenga..
wud a long shirt look good on a lehenga and how long?

advice peeps!!

Re: getting married

I am sure you can get it made in Pakistan, I am in the USA so not sure whom you will need to contact but they can work some magic...

okay a long shir tis nice but not too long... you need the perfect length to elongate you...

tx sidra!

ive already posted this in the 2010 brides thread too!
