Salam to everyone… How is everyone here and just wanted to say Ramzan Muabarak to everyone… Im new to this site and wanted to introduce myself. I live in the U.S. and am from the Peshawar side of Pakistan. Ill be getting married soon InshAllah, and im getting all my clothes made from Lahore. Ive already placed my order for my bridal outfit and for the mehndi suit and etc.. The only that remains is the other wardrobe that I need to start with.. I would greatly appreciate new ideas and suggestions, so I can start my wardrobe… Like whats the latest style(s) in Lahore and in Karachi for that matter?? And oh yeah, I also wanted to inquire about any good salons in the Isb and Pindi area, or even if they have any decent ones in Peshawar… Id greatly appreciate it… Thanks lot…

for designers you can try nikki and nina in lahore, or if you can really afford it then faiza samee(bridals only)... no one does it like her.. excellent designs...
if you were in lahore.. i could have suggested some exceptional names.. but in isb go for the tried and tested. and make sure you tell them what you want very clearly, otherwise they'll try to do their own thing and make you look either very fair or very dark.
this is the thing, I will be getting married in Peshawar, and the Walima will be in the ISB area... Im willing to drive to ISB for the makeup.... What kind of looks do they differ in? Meaning what kind of look does Mee Lee's give and what kind of look does Daniella's give? who's more traditional and who's gives a more modern look.....
i strongly suggest that you visit both the parlour atleast 2 weeks before the wedding,, they have their photo shoots there,, that will give you a very good idea of what you'll be getting.
thanks for all your help you guys sorry im replying kind of late its cuz i was outta the office for a while, so im back....... my whole wardrobe is being made in lahore.... wedding suit from hsy.. and the other ones from another designer in lahore... this stuff can get reall confusing... do you guys know how much wedding sets run in lahore, keeping in mind that gold is like 9,500 per tola, but just an average estimate of a decent wedding set which includes a head set necklace and earrings/jhumkey.. what do you guys think??
I think you should be able to get a wedding set looking at the pieces you need for about 2-2.5 lac cause it would be atleast 16-18 tolas for a wedding set with any proper weigtage of gold. I could be very wrong but my cousin just got hers made the one from karachi cost less as it was a more show less weight one but the one from lahore had more solid gold and for teeka, earrings (the kind that is choker on top then covers the upper chest above kamiz neckline), necklace and ring it cost about 2,30000.
