hey guys am getting married next year!!!Ok i dont know if this is normal but im sooo stressed!i need to collect stuff such as perfumes etc but need advise on how much i need to save to buy stuff dat are decent.ok gals give me some ideas about wedding shoppin please!
i hate weddings but need to make ma weddin perfect lolz saw this wedding film the girls "bari"u know dowry she didnt have much stuff like perfumes…so i have decided to collect stuff before i get married but am so stressed no idea y!!!
think the reason for that is i dont know the guy,how am i going to talk to him aaaggghhh! gals give me advise on that too thanx

what do you mean perfect, if we know this we can tell you what you will need.
if you want decor or stuff like that, now is a good time to get somethings bec val day has just passed & you can get the left over stuff

Salma, it’s the parents’ job to collect dowry, not yours. Just worry about personal items such as perfumes, make up etc, and your parents will worry about clothes, shoes, and bed sheets etc. Girls are usually stressed out when they are about to get married, so you are not the only one out there. Don’t panic, everything will be alright.

shikra thanx mate for the advise yeah im tryin to collect makeup n perfumes now cause i wont have time after the only problem is i dont actaully wear much make up!! lolz so dats the problem i dont no what to get!

i hvant been in this situation so i wusnt know the first or the last thing about it.....if i were u i wud start collecting things waaay before my weding day...things i'll need in my next house etc....like shikri sed worry about personal belongings not other things......wo bhi ho jaye ga!

hey hhs4462 by perfect i mean i want everythin just to be perfect dats all...the only thing is im getting married in pakistan so not all ma mates are goin to be der as they are in uk so wen they see the weddin film i want them to say wow cant beleive we missed dat lolz!

lolz ok im getting married to ma cuzin but his from pakistan i havent actaully seen him for 6 years ive seen him on the film ive tried to talk to him but i cant i just get sooo embressed no idea y though but den again i cant speak ma language fluently lolz poor him he trys to pphone me but i dont no what to say to him!

I collected tons of stuff before my wedding, its all languishing on the dresser, in boxes or stuffed away. You hardly use the stuff. I have to find opportunities to get the stuff out. I'd advise against buying too much...you can buy whatever you need as you go along later. But i'll pm with what you could buy.

“collect” perfumes? err how many do you need.
how long does a bottle take to empty? even if you use it on a daily basis?
perfumes will still be available in the market after you are married.
get a few 3-4 and that should be good enough. Perfumes have a shelf life too and if not used in that period they dont smell the same. Buying too much may be good if you just want to show people what you have, but utility wise it is not doing much.

True Fraudz. I don’t understand the concept of hoarding stuff either. Buy stuff as you need it. 3-4 perfumes is more than enough, 2 day wear 2 evening wear. I always buy the 2.7fl size. The sooner it finishes the sooner I can go shopping again 
If you gather too much you get sick of just seeing it lay around and don’t even want to use it by the time its turn comes around. Thats how it is for me anyway. Also don’t go overboard with clothes! Instead of getting 50 outfits made for your dowry, try to make do with 10-15 for various dinners. Repeating doesn’t kill. I would probably feel bad getting any outfits made after those 50 anyway! Easy on the shoes too. Don’t stack them up. Fashion changes and u don’t want to be stuck with 20 pairs of what may not even be ‘in’ next season!

I agree with FF, dont overstock on anything… get about 15 or so clothes made, i personally think thats more than enuff.. its a lot more exciting to get clothes as u go.. pulling out stuff from a year ago (which u’ve never worn) is boring… my opinion neways…

I wouldnt need or want clothes or shoes .I would rather invest in the decor for the new home.
