X2 bro, yes I'm a girl. Canada too has changed over the years with the influx of immigrants. The starring thing happens here as well but to a much lesser extent than in Pakistan. Not looking forward to that at all.

i could only comment on that if i know what kind of jobs are you looking for… in general there are jobs and dubai’s financial advisor said that dubai’s financial problems are over so things are looking better…

While it may be good by UAE or gulf standards, we are talking about people moving from Canada which has universities like McGill, Westen Ontario, Toronto etc.
There is a an enormous difference.
I am not saying this to be dismissive of your university, but sharing the facts with the person asking the question. Their frame of reference is not teh rest of the arabian gulf, but what they see around them in Canada or US etc.

The job market is ok and the financial market is not at all stable as of yet. People are getting jobs but at this point you cannot bargain and ask for a good package and/or perks which you could do earlier on. The good thing is that the rents are going down and real estate is getting more stable.

x2 my university is actually an off campus branch for a big name university chain in the USA. it is accredited etc etc... and let me google statistics for u but it does come in the list..
