Getting digital photos printed

I am looking at the following options to get digital photos printed:

  1. QOOP: That’s a US based website that takes the pictures directly from your Webshots, Photobucket, etc. account. They offer international shipping too.
  2. Local photo shop here in Dubai

Believe it or not, but Option 1 is cheaper for 20+ pictures even if I include the shipping costs from the US to Dubai. The only question I am of course not sure about, is the quality of the prints. Therefore I would appreciate it, if you could share your experience with QOOP or any other US based photo development sites that offer international shipping to Dubai.

The quality is not bad but it all depends on the date quality of the images you originally shot, the exposure, iso etc. Unlike local photolabs these websites do not offer image enhancement as most of the pictures are printed on pre-set automatic settings on their print machines so you may try a local lab first to see how the images turn out.
