Re: Getting bored with life!
mclovin- what do you do in your free time now, vs what you did in uni?
pick up some groups and sports etc, sunday league, some local team, etc
join some group workign towards some issue you find interesting
or just local singles groups who are always planning one activity or another.
do you need to be in a different location? i.e. be closer to city center than farther away, because then there is a lot more going on around you, you can do more things spur of the moment.
I recall when i was single and living in the city, half the time I would not know what my plans were after hours, randomly stop at some event i heard about or someone calls to meet up for drinks (err coffee) after work, last minute tix to some sports event..or i would get home and then have some friends calling to say hey meet up at such and such place, 30 minutes. it would have been tougher if i was an hour away from downtown etc. even in burbs, less going on but its doable
as long as you have friends closeby, and the place you are at is not dead, u are okay, just have to try
Fantastic ideas X2!
At the moment, not much really I dont really have a routine on doing things.. During the day everyone is at work and is only free from 6pm onwards.. and for a couple of hours.. Some of the go to the gym, some go for drinks (@ bars etc.. which isnt my scene!), work collegues are kinda lot more senior than me.. so its like they go home to the family as their working mums/grandparents etc.
My local community centre doesnt really seem to have much on I kinda live on the outskirts of the city where transport links are kinda far and as im not driving getting back can be an issue and taxi arent cheap! lol Im thinking of find a place to move out to a place closer to the city or the high street/train station etc.
I want to develop my photography skills but walking around alone and taking pictures is kinda weird.. maybe as I havnt dont it alone I find it abit awkard..?
