Im a fitness instructor and recently badly hurt my achillies tendon. I train like a freak cos i teach classes so it was a nightmare cos i had to have a month off. Howeva i didnt realise how close i was to actually snapping it-i was! Well it drove me mad but i had to take a full month off. If i wud have snapped it i wud have been out of action for a year!
I know its hard to get back into it after a long break but do what ur instructors tell u. I do understand how u feel tho esp if u had a serious injury. Perservere and take it easy and u will get back into it.

Exactly the same thing happened here Well appart from being a fitness instructor and all But I wasnt allowed to walk for almost 2 months. I started walking the same day and joined gym after just 1 week After a complaint from my parents my GP called me and told me to stay home or else I might become disabled for the rest of my life. So I had to stay home for 4-5 weeks.
After that I didnt really go the gym
