im trying to look here for a prom dress in lahore but to be honest i dont know where to start.
i have two options, either go and buy a ready made one or i could buy the actual satin silk material in whatever colour i want and give to a proper tailor or someone who could make that dress for me as the following pic below. i know in london thats easy to do, buy the fabric and get the pattern cutting for it and give it to any dress maker but as im not from lahore i need abit of help.
im more keen on the getting it stitched from scratch idea than buying readymade as im sure the prices here will be too much!
i was thinking of something like this, i can get diamonte laces aswell to put on or even get the diamonte kaam done from karigars. im gona need to add little sleeves, i was thinking of chiffon little 3inch sort sleeves so that its not sleevless yet its not ruining the dressy look with longer sleeves. also the neckline wont be so revealing as i am a muslim! do u guys have any pics of typical prom dresses which i could perhaps make for my lil sisters prom? its really hard to find something nice with sleeves! i dont mind even if the sleeves are very little!
