hi ppl..am getting a gharara made - NOT farshi style, but it will be like the olden ghararas with a BIG GHOOM, not like the modern version which looks a little like flared bell shaped pants…
now i need advice on how long should the shirt be? it should not hide the goat of the gharara, which comes at the knees, but since longer shirts r in fashion, shud the shirt be, like, 3 inches above the knees? or less or more??
I just wore my shaadi gharara on a relatives wedding and it was also an old-fashioned gharara. I had a new top made for it and it hit 2 inches above the gota on the knee and looked really good, still traditional but more with today's fashion of long shirts.
