Getting a CV made professionally

Would you actually pay to get your Resume done professionally? Do you think its important to go to paid sessions where they teach interview skills?

What say?

Re: Getting a CV made professionally

Personally I would not since i've been playing with resumes since my middle school. But yes if someone is jumping fresh in market after college graduation or something like that, its a great idea to get a professional touch. You may have to pay upfront but its totally worth it.
Some employers are very picky while scanning resumes. One mistake can drop you from the narrowed down list or vice versa, so why take a chance.

Also the mistakes in resume are normally ignored if the position is technical.

But for generic position, it becomes critical to mend it down.
