I was speaking about the Crest whitening strips and the like with my work mates a few days ago. I was told that one should consult his/her dentist before using them as such strips and methods can possibly damage/destroy the enamel layer on our teeth.

Quick fixes either leave long lasting side effects or the fix itself is just temporary. In this case the photon activated aviator cream lightbulb thingamajig looks like a short term solution to me. Like wearing coloured contact lenses for a night out in town.
PS: Any product that bears the label As Seen On TV or similar labels should automatically be considered as third rate and possibly a scam. If the things sold on shopping networks and paid infomercials were really all that they claim them to be, they would be selling at your local Walmart already. Just my opinion.
