No.. Sadly not John Stamos but other than smoothies and just eating them with fruits, how else do you get some greek yogurt in. The only creative thing I can do with it is use it in salad as a dressing and use it instead of sour cream. Share tips.

Re: Get yo gReek on

Tzatziki!!! It’s my favorite condiment/relish..even with desi food.

It’s so simple…Greek yogurt..grated or finely diced cucumber..minced garlic..fresh dill…sea salt

I’ve pretty much replaced regular yogurt with Greek yogurt for just about everything. Also, I use it in place of sour cream on my tex mex dishes, on baked potatoes…even to make pasta salads or potato salads in place of mayo!

Breakfast parfaits :k:

Layered with garnola/fresh cut fruit/nuts in between with greek yogurt. You will be in heaven, I promise

Re: Get yo gReek on

I use it in baking. I add about 125ml (about ½ cup) to cake/cupcake batter and it makes the cake quite nice and moist.

Re: Get yo gReek on

I make raita, use in chaats, anywhere I need yogurt.

Re: Get yo gReek on

Interesting!

Is this to replace any ingredient? or in addition to the batter? Would it work on a box-mix?

Greek yoghurt is an amazing alternative to sour cream.

Also what khatti said about tzatziki. The only thing I would add is lemon juice.

Re: Get yo gReek on

I usually just add this in addition to the batter, although I do know some cake batters require sour cream, so I think it could be used as a replacement for sour cream. I’m not certain if it would work with a box mix. However, in my experience, most box mixes require vegetable oil, which should already make the cake quite moist.

Re: Get yo gReek on

John Stamos though! (Ignoring the fact that he is more than twice my age lol)

Re: Get yo gReek on

I scoop spoonfuls of greek yogurt into a glass. Add water. Mix it smooth into a lussi like consistency and drink it. It’s good for your skin and digestive track. I’ve also used it in cooking…as part if the curry/gravy.
