That’s my suggestion. In our culture (Desi Culture that is), “Gupshup” does not mean having a religious conversation with some halfass Molvee. It means fun and shoghal and light hearted exchange of views.

If you must keep it (due to pressure from Taliban sympathizers) , change it’s name to “Faith Forum”. It sounds secular and goes well with Gupshup ideology.
I don't think Kashmir is considered gupshup either. It is a very serious issue.
Fun…let’s take care of one problem at a time. I have a 12 step program in my mind, let’s first fix Religion, then we will handle Kashmir. Unless you feel like handling both at once.
I completely agree. Mostly people ask stupid questions if this haram or that is haram and others come up with ahadees and aayaas proving how it's a very delicate matter and you can't be sure. You end up having five people saying halal and other five haram.
It adds so much to ignorance.

Yeah please remove it... it is so sad seeing "mukireen-e-hadith" replying to a thread and thus confusing the minds of those faithful young beleivers who apparently have little knowledge about the matter and are very keen to know Islam But are getting corrupted minds due to such people...
