Nadz, im not turning people away from it.. but it's harmful to people that don't need that much folic acid in their diet.. water is safe to consume.. even green leafy veggie's in excess have side-effects.. and it's harder on the kidney's.

Folic acid is good in small amounts.. 2 litres of dark green leafy veggie's over a week is a better idea than consuming it in a day. Nausea, kidney problems, abdominal distension, flatulence..

Gina is right. Once i ate excessive Broccoli and green beans....Guess what? Ministery of Environment inspectors came to my house and gave me a flatulence ticket of 500 dollars and they lectured me on Ozone layer depletion and green bean house gases.

i have tried this and yes it good for your skin. You do not need to drink 2 litters.
Just make it a habit of drinking it 2-3 times a week of one glass 250 ml. It is just a healthy habit, u do not have to over do it. There are sooo many amazing recipes online for fruit and veggi mix coctails/smoothies.
Most desi diet exclude veggies anyways so i think it is not a bad idea to drink this few times a week. I have often been very lazy to eat spanich, abolutely hated it and i have mixed it up in coctail which makes up for my bad dieting habit. :)

lol @ bitter_reality..so funny..nywayz ya leafy greens r great for ur health n skin i think all veggies r great i consume a mix of raw n cooked veggies throughout the day..n it really helps keeping u lean n fresh..another thing cut red meat from ur diet if u wana maintain great health n good looks..

LOL no side effects love. its not 2 litres of veg, its 2 handfuls…read carefully the amount mixed with water lots of water and fruit makes about 2litres to drink..

GINA...NO WHERE DID I SAY DRINK 2 LITRES OF VEG ONLY....THE ENTIRE RECIPE INCLUDED WITH 1 LITRE WATER....AND FRUIT ETC MAKES ABOUT 2 LITRES.....

i agree with this. when i was a hundred percent vegan and did only fresh veggies and fruits i had the cleanest, clearest skin ever. and its always better to eat the whole fruit or veggie instead of juicing because juice doesnt include fibre.

Why are u screaming? I read u're post.. it's dissolved into 2 litres of water.. u will get the same results if u included fresh veggie's and fruits in u're diet.. excess folic acid isn't good for anyone.. leads to kidney and liver problems.. even herbs have side-effects..

Have the fruits and veggie's fresh..u'll get the benefits of fibre too..

this fibre thing is absolutely right...i have done this for a month i.e. just had fresh veggies..and dat made my skin glow..i was surprised at the results..its def. true..u r what u eat ..but with smoothies i am not sure never done that...but i read somewhere that instead of a juice try to eat that fruit...that way u remain full for longer bcz of fibre and fibre also helps in constipation issues..
