Exactly. This is a sign of bigger problems. If they’re so shallow and want to change her now just what will they do later on? This is a warning sign for her. Either she can become a puppet for them or she can use this opportunity to say goodbye.

Sounds like the guy's family is just looking for excuses. If they have been engaged for 2 years, why are they bringing this 'problem' up now? She should dump the guy, cause they will just find some other reason to give her the boot.

for your friend - girl you are beautiful just the way you are. If a guy has issues with your looks tell him to go and fudge with himself and she is worth a lot more then listening to that crap....

I am now convinced that people who frequent GS are not astute observers. Jeez, people!!! THINK!! The in-laws are the not the ones who have a problem with the nose, the guy does. The guy likes the gal, sans the nose. He is a shallow individual with a pinch of cowardice. He is scared to tell her himself, so he uses his mom and sisters as a front.
