Sounds like the guy's family is just looking for excuses. If they have been engaged for 2 years, why are they bringing this 'problem' up now? She should dump the guy, cause they will just find some other reason to give her the boot.
What kind of cowardly doctor is this? He can make life saving decisions but not stop his parents from being insulting and rude?
Ditch him and move on ... I agree with the girl's father.
